Collaborating with the project manager to develop a detailed, cost-effective budget for the project.

Performing accounting duties throughout the project, such as preparing invoices, estimating cash flow, and signing off on purchase orders.

Keeping a record of all project finances for internal/external auditing and tax purposes.

Preparing cost analyses by interpreting projects’ financial data and information.

Assist in preparing materials for external audits

Verify change order entries and budget adjustments

Oversee AP and AR transactions, including the verification of numbers and budget adjustments.

Collaborate with project managers on billables and payables

Ensure accurate financial reporting, including month-end, year-to-date, and year-end reports

Create ledger transactions to produce financial statements

Verify WIPs and P&L statements

Verify accuracy of job costing reporting any financial risks and budgetary discrepancies to management for review.

Prepare journal entries required for closing

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

1. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2. Age 35-45years old
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

5. A minimum of 3 year’s experience in construction/cost accounting. Excellent knowledge of construction cost accounting and related financial procedures.
6. Proficient in Excel, including V-lookups and pivot tables.
