Position: Product Development Staff (Japanese Speaking)

Location: Saha Union Building (BTS Bang Chak), Bangkok

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (09:00 – 18:00)

About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and skilled Product Development Staff to join a leading consumer goods and home appliance company. This role is essential for driving new product development and enhancing existing product lines by aligning market insights with product concepts, specifications, recipes, and promotional materials. You will serve as a key point of contact with the Japan Headquarters.

Job Description

Collaborate closely with Japan HQ to support R&D and marketing activities, including leading presentations and handling Q&A sessions.
Research and analyze sales data, competitor products, market size, and current trends.
Prepare R&D/marketing documents and report findings to the management team and HQ.
Create, review, and verify manuals, packaging, and product labels in Thai, Japanese, and English.
Develop concept sheets for new products and align with relevant stakeholders.
Develop recipes and perform food preparation to support new product launches, demonstrations, and marketing activities.
Provide product information and conduct training for internal teams, product consultants, and external agencies.
Work with the marketing team to manage promotional materials (e.g., POP, artwork, photoshoots, and videos).
Translate documents and provide interpretation support (Thai-Japanese-English) as needed.

Job Requirement

Thai Nationality, Male or Female, age 25 – 35 years old.
At least 2 years of working experience in Product Development, Marketing, or a related field.
Must have experience in tangible product industries (e.g., home appliances, FMCG, consumer goods). Note: Candidates from consulting or service-only industries will not be considered.
Excellent Japanese communication skills (JLPT N2 or above). Must be able to present, answer questions, and write business emails fluently to communicate with Japan HQ.
Moderate English skills (Business level is not strictly required).
Cooking and food preparation skills are highly preferred for product demonstration purposes.
Experience in market research, data analysis, or digital marketing is a strong advantage.
Good computer skills (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
