1. Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Research and Development Center, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry trends
2. Lead and manage a cross-functional team of engineers, researchers, and technical specialists
3. Develop and implement the R&D roadmap, focusing on new product development, process optimization, and technological innovation
4. Collaborate with other departments to identify market opportunities, customer requirements, and emerging industry trends
5. Manage R&D budgets, resources, and project timelines to ensure efficient and effective project execution
6. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within the R&D team
7. Monitor and evaluate competitor products, technologies, and market movements to maintain a competitive advantage
8. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
9. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, suppliers, and research institutions to facilitate collaboration and knowledge exchange.
10. Provide regular reports and updates on R&D progress, milestones, and challenges.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or related field); Master’s degree or PhD is preferred
2. Japanese nationality is preferred
3. Proven experience working with automotive and electronic suppliers, including supplier development, technical collaboration, and product integration to both domestic and overseas operations.
4. Proven leadership experience in research and development, with strong expertise in CAD, CAM, and product innovation within the automotive parts industry.
5. Strong technical knowledge of product development processes, materials, and manufacturing technologies.
6. Demonstrated track record of successfully managing R&D projects from concept through commercialization.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of professionals.
8. Strategic mindset with the ability to identify market and technology trends and translate them into actionable R&D strategies.
9. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.
10. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
